Accommodating Variable Resistance

High Resistance Lower Body Fins for Aquatic Training

Aquastrength Fins provide variable resistance for your aquatic fitness routine. The drag created by your movements provides the resistance necessary to tone and build muscle. The faster you move the more the resistance will build. Choosing higher resistance fins will increase the rate of this buildup. These fins can be worn on the ankle or forearm for lower and upper body exercises.

I’m still unsure which resistance is best for me.

Aquastrength Fins are only available in one (high) resistance level which most closely compares to the Aqualogix High Resistance Fins. Aqualogix offers two lower resistance levels which are more suited to aqua running, swimming and higher tempos.

I have bigger ankles/calves; will they fit?

Most likely yes. The fins fit most body types. Larger calves can be accommodated with the use of an additional Strap set.

How do the fins stay on and secure?

The fins simply wrap around your ankle and attach via dual Velcro cinch straps. When the fins are fitted nice and tight (compressing the neoprene slightly) they should stay in place. An occasional adjustment while they break-in is normal.

I saw you also sell Aqualogix Fins. How do they compare to these?

Aquastrength Fins are only available in one (high) resistance level which most closely compares to the Aqualogix High Resistance Fins. Aqualogix offers two lower resistance levels which are more suited to aqua running, swimming and higher tempos.

How do I fit these on my forearms?

It can be a bit tricky to fit these for the first time. It is best to lay the fin in your lap and place your forearm in it. This will give some support while you use one hand to secure the straps.

Highly durable “soft” plastic combined with replaceable Velcro straps and comfortable Neoprene pads

Customers say

Customers like the workout effectiveness, quality, and durability of the swim fins. They mention they provide a fantastic workout, are a great way to combine cardio and resistance training in one fun workout, and will last a long time with normal use. However, some customers have reported that the long velcro straps become loose, tangled, or undone. Opinions are mixed on the fit.
